Compliment for wound care at Flamingo. Our inspecting Wound sister, saw Ms Trezona’s wound and was very impressed with the wound care management and the care she is receiving. Good dressing selection and dressing technique.

Thank you very much for making our Mother’s day so very special yesterday. Mum had the most marvellous 95th birthday at Robari. We really appreciated the wonderful photographs that you forwarded to us of the tea party. The photo account was so special and meaningful to us especially as we could not actually be there. We loved the video of the staff singing to the birthday girl! Mum said the cake was absolutely delicious, our compliments and thanks to the chef please! The visit at the gate was lovely too, as we could get a good look at Mum and although wobbly, she does seem to be getting stronger by the day. Thank you to you and your wonderful team for the amazing job that you do for the residents of Robari. With love, appreciation and warm wishes.

Ek en Derek wil net spesiaal dankie se vir jou aanbeveling na dr Danie van Aswegen. Dankie dat jy ‘n afspraak gereel het dat hy my Ma kon ontmoet en vroegtydig vir haar ‘n leer kon oopmaak voordat sy siek geword het. Ons is baie gelukkig met hom. Dankie ook dat jy gereel het dat haar voorskrifte oorgeplaas word na Circle Apteek wat haar medisyne kom aflewer. Baie dankie ook vir jou reelings sodat Christan haar rekenings kry en kan betaal. Christan het ook sy korrespondensie met jou oor die reelings t.o.v. die Power of Attorney aangestuur na my toe. Baie dankie vir jou behulpsaamheid en geduld en vriendelikheid ten spyte van die baie keer wat hy moes terugkom na jou toe omdat die Bank nog eise gestel het!! Ek wil net he dat jy weet dat ons jou toewyding en harde werk raaksien en baie waardeer.  Baie dankie ook vir jou en die ander personeel se opoffering om maande lank op die perseel te gebly het om na die inwoners te kyk. Ons besef dat julle skielik en ongevraagd ‘n groot verantwoordelik op julle skouers gekry het en onder baie stres is. Ons bid dat die Here julle sal seen en die wysheid en krag sal gee wat julle nodig het om deur hierdie krisistyd te kan kom. Ons bid vir jou en die ander personeel, asook die inwoners. I am so impressed with the HSFA staff and with the HSFA as an organisation – I am so in awe of the huge sacrifices you are all making. The meeting was so well run and the social distancing and sanitising, etc was so well adhered to – I appreciate that you all had our safety in mind too. Honestly, getting my dad into the organisation was the best thing I could have done. All those years ago when I attended the first information meeting at Vonke, and I literally only found out about the meeting that same morning, I just felt that this place would work for my dad and I was right. I cannot thank you enough.
