Volunteering is the art of making a difference through the canvas of kindness, colouring the world with compassion, one selfless act at a time.
During the celebration of International Volunteers Week, we seized the chance to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated volunteers who selflessly offer their valuable time to support the elderly at the HSFA. It’s a genuine blessing to have so many compassionate souls within our community. Your kindness and unwavering commitment are deeply appreciated. Thank you to our wonderful Volunteer team that support the HSFA with their efforts in the charity shop, kiosk, gardens, with art classes, reading, talk groups and so much more! We applaud your talents and warm hearts. Thanks to Shireen van Reenen our Social Worker and Community Manager who manages the Volunteer programme and who also arranged a lovely champagne breakfast for the team!
