“Hats off” to HSFA Mothers

“Hats off” to HSFA Mothers

Hats off to all the incredible residents of HSFA from Vonke House and Swannack Gardens! Our independent living units celebrated Mother’s Day in style with a fabulous Hat Parade! From elegant sunhats to creative masterpieces, our residents rocked the red carpet with their unique and colourful creations. There was some “out of the box” thinking!!! Well done to the prize winners. Thanks to the staff team and GERATEC for spoiling us! It was a celebration filled with laughter, creativity, and a whole lot of fun! #HatParade #MothersDay #Celebration #IndependentLiving #FunTimes

Volunteers colouring the world with compassion

Volunteers colouring the world with compassion

Volunteering is the art of making a difference through the canvas of kindness, colouring the world with compassion, one selfless act at a time.
During the celebration of International Volunteers Week, we seized the chance to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated volunteers who selflessly offer their valuable time to support the elderly at the HSFA. It’s a genuine blessing to have so many compassionate souls within our community. Your kindness and unwavering commitment are deeply appreciated. To mark the occasion, we gathered for a delightful festive lunch together. Also thank you GERATEC for a wonderful spread of deliciousness
Carols by Candlelight

Carols by Candlelight

We were filled with Christmas cheer having Tish and Denise grace us with their singing talents during our carols singing gatherings across our Frail Care, Assisted Living, and Independent Living units. Every resident joined in the songs, spreading festive cheer. We shared treats, tea, and cake, making the moments even more delightful. Thank you to two special Somerset West ladies Tish and Denise as well as John on audio and Margo on piano.
