A special thank you goes out to our wonderful residents at HSFA Mountview Frailcare, Joan Moen and Edith Hofmeyr, for their incredible dedication and generosity. Over the past few months, Joan and Edith have been tirelessly knitting beautiful crafts, which they have now graciously donated to
Heartlands Baby Sanctuary.
This heartwarming effort bridges the gap between generations, showcasing the kindness and creativity of our elderly community members, and bringing joy to the little ones at Heartlands.

For an unforgettable night, the HSFA’s Vonke Hall was transformed into an elegant fine dining restaurant, where the HSFA hosted our bi-annual fundraising and networking dinner. Esteemed members of our Somerset community gathered to support and raise awareness for the HSFA, our mission, our Section 18A status, and the vital role that bequests and donations from the community play in sustaining our NPO. Our cherished residents at HSFA’s Vonke House and Swannack Gardens came together on the 14th Feb to celebrate Valentine’s Day in style! Everyone delighted in the French-themed festivities, dressing up elegantly for the occasion. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Geratec for the delightful surprises of hidden hearts and the delectable culinary delights that made the day even more special! Congrats to the Kilkenny’s for being awarded the best dressed – enjoy your romantic hamper!

What a treat to receive SO many gift hampers donated and beautiful personalised Christmas letters written to the HSFA residents from the teams of children and parents from Beaumont Primary School.
