What a joy it is to celebrate a centenarian! Mr. Colin Truelove turned 100 on February 14th—his name and birthdate say it all! He embodies love and happiness. Surrounded by many friends, he enjoyed a wonderful party with delicious cakes and treats generously donated by Blue Crane. Happy Birthday, sir! We are incredibly proud to announce that 10 of our caregivers have successfully completed their Introduction to Palliative Care course with APCC!

Hosted by
Helderberg Hospice, this training equipped them with essential skills to provide compassionate and specialized care to our residents. A huge shoutout to Sr. Thandi, who put them through their ranks and ensured they excelled in both their exam and practical assessments!
This training was made possible thanks to a generous donation received by Helderberg Training Centre, which we are utilising to upskill our employees and enhance the quality of care we provide.
Thank you to everyone who played a part in this journey—together, we are making a real difference!

The team that benefitted: Bernadette Wessels, Cindy Wessels, Vuyokazi Vavi, Bongiwe Combo, Nombeko Mqanduli, Roche Cloete, Patience Ntsholo, Eunice Ntsholo, Monique Visagie and Deidre Samuels
